Yep. If you get there before midnight they direct you to D lot. There are a ton of rows of cars, and you just pull up in your row and park. You can see the lines starting to move, and as the cars go in, your line will eventually go with a minimum of stop and go.
I think we got in at 3am. You can also just wait in Gerlach and watch the road to BRC. You will see the cars and RVs on the side of the road begin to move when the gates open.
