Google maps? There's a "print" link on the upper right that prints out a nice printable version of whatever you're looking at.missypixi wrote:Does anyone know a website that i could download/print a highway map for free. I cant seem to find any that are good. Thanks!

I looked but it wont let me print a detailed full map of the state with highways and stuff. I would just hate to spend $30.00 on an atlas of the whole country just to get to Burningman, what a waste! But thank you very much, I love google maps for directions, I just wish they had a detailed state map section!

We snagged ours at a visitor center. Free. Truckstops have them too. Not free.
Isn't hard to get there, we just went by the map on the survival guide. Turned off I-80 and headed north into the unknown.
Head toward Vegas, your choice of routes, there are a couple. Pick up a free map along the way. You don't really need it. Follow the interstate signs to HWY 95 once you get into Vegas. Go north until you hit I-80. Head west. Take46 exit in Fernley, head north. There are signs pointing to the event. Really, throw yourself onto the road, you will get there.

As yagmir said, "AAA". They sell the bound atlas's and offer the last year's version for a deeply discounted price. If you don't have AAA, maybe someone you know does and they can pick the book up for you. There are all main highways to get there, and if you just follow the main routes, you'll have no problems. The hippie bus idea was no joke. As you get within 300 miles of BM, you will be able to clearly identify which vehicles are heading to Black Rock City.

Really? Seriously?
If you go to the Nevad tourism boards' website, I'm sure they will send you a map. At this point, you prolly won't get it in time....just a thought. On that note, we have like 3 interstates in the WHOLE state. It's pretty hard to get lost unless you turn off the interstate.
