BURN SHIELD - where to find decomposed granite?

i'm sure there is already a thread about this but i can't find it on here!

where can i find decomposed granite in the LA area or Bay area?
or is there a good substitute?

most landscaping supply yards will have it.
That will be your cheapest bulk alternative.

There are many places you can "dig your own", but, probably to late for this year.

Ditto on landscape yards.

Burning Man has DG for the Man platform etc. trucked from the Spanish Springs Quarry north of Sparks.
