Any other educators going to the burn?

Post by moonshinethemermaid » Sun Aug 22, 2010 7:57 pm

I finally can go this year, only because I am switching jobs for a year or two and working as an individual assistant for a boy with asperger's syndrome. I honestly didn't think i would ever be able to burn. The end of August is a really important time in school.

How do you make it happen?

Start by buying a ticket. Then read this:

actually, just get the pdf here:

http://www.burningman.com/media/doc/pre ... _guide.pdf

Print it and read it and that should be all you need to know. Just show up. That is the most important thing. You will find who you need to find once you get there.

Probably not quite the kind of educator you mean, but we homeschool, so this year we're just pushing the start of school out a couple of week.s

My daughter goes to a supplemental one day a week school, and she'll be missing the first 2 weeks of that.
