Barbie Death Village Returns in 2010!

Last year, someone camping with or near the Barbie Death Village had a canning machine that people could use to make time capsules. Write a message, put it into an empty tin can, seal the can... that kind of thing.

Does anyone know if this machine will be making a return to the playa this year? That was seriously cool. Thanks.

jpx, you are thinking about Preserved In Time. They will be back again as part of Barbie Death Village and are going to be on the corner of 3:30 and G. I am sure they appreciate the kind words.

Just was looking over the people on these forums who are members of Barbie Death Camp (includes a few who are on sabbatical this year). We have certainly grown. Hope I don't foget anybody:

yep we will be there doing it 1 to 4 pm and this year bmanbutton will be with us ...just bring your camera and se what u can do in to a pin on button...see everyone on the playa...

Dr Pyro,

The past 4 years I have camped just down the road at about 3:30 and outer circle (Kyoto this year). Have walked/biked by your camp many times but never stopped in to say hey! Will correct that this year. I have camped by myself in the past, but this year am bringing 6 newbies. What was I thinking? Actually, should be interesting seeing BRC through their eyes.

I'll still lay better than even money that at some point during the week I will either have to respectfully request that somebody leave the RV or, if all else fails, offer a massage.

You've got me kinda curious and kinda worried about whats in the back of your RV. You keep talking about people getting lost back there. Is there some sort of crazy time machine, portal to another dimension, gallons of top shelf wine or tequila, or maybe a hot tub but with cool water?

If any of you are not going to use your passes, do not just give them away or, heaven forbid, throw it out. We have people who truly need the pass. Please PM me if you have an extra pass.
