Put Misa on the train for Auburn a couple of hours ago. She should be there very shortly. She is a delightful lady. You are all in for a treat to meet her. We had a great time together.

One more day of work and LF and I will be on the road! Yippeee!

he said he has a 6 am shift, so I really should keep him out all night.
Just to get him use to the working hours on the playa.

I still have 4 more days before I make it out.

Today, on my way downtown to meet a guy I know who's in town for a bit to have a beer, I'm driving on the freeway and a car passes me. It has two bikes on the back, which would not normally be interesting, but...these bikes are both painted gold. Totally gold. The tires have gold hash marks on them all the way around. I notice two 20 something women in the car. The back seat is full of stuff. I think I just saw a couple of burners headed home. They were from Canada (Ontario) and their license plate read BUUNK 1.

Soon I will be in the dust too, just not soon enough.

OK, one more beer with all y'all

Hans has arrived. Tomorrow he will adjust our bike brakes so we can stop. We'll hit one of the local breweries (Buckbean) to snag a few to take to the Playa. We'll also do drive bys on some of the hot spots in Reno to see if we can spot any burners.

Hi gang!

I am safe in Auburn...alreadz met my fellows - nice people;]

I have seen the RV we are going in....wow, it really is bigger than my flat

Now, the last preparation! {and seems we are going for boat trip today]

Ha ha ha..yesterday they didnt want to sell me bottle of wine, how hilarious...Marty you know how I look, certainly not under 21, so today I am bringing my passport to shop :]

BTW: LF, hope the ingrediences I need to bake are not hard to find, it is simple and delicious...we go shopping today too...I will need to whip {whisk it} it..hope to find the tool for that

See you all so soon!!!! And if you are from half as nice as Marty, than I am worried I had died and am already in heaven

so actually no worries about that...

misa, i'll bring whisks and bowls and pans and things. i'll make the pudding on playa ... i can't buy the packaged stuff ... europe's packaged stuff is so much better! but it's not too hard to make. are you enjoying your visit to california?

gyre, i'm in LA preparing for the burn and moving a load of crap north and fighting a sinus infection all at the same time! surviving to-day will be a major feat... and i plan to celebrate like crazy!

oh i'm taking swimming lessons too, just in case.
