John, on the Burning Blog, has some terriffic photos on the raising. The Man has a nice silver sheen to him this year.

you get to go up in the base- not climb the Man. Just be prepared for Really Long Lines and Crowds as the week moves on. By Thursday I wouldn't even get close to it.

However, I might see if I can go up tomorrow night & get shots of cars coming in when they open the Gate.
