Hi everyone. Spent the day today washing off playa dust from all my gear. Tomorrow we tackle the Jeep. Damn I'm ready for next year. As usual I planned things during the burn and missed everyone of them - except our own event. How'd everyone like the rain Monday? My tent was 99% dust proof but not rain proof. Lots of water on the floor Monday evening.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

Same here Geo, but it was par for the course to have all plans turned inside out by mid-week. Fortunately I was still in my car on the road when the rain hit, so by the time we hit the booby bar the ground had absorbed it all.

I am ready to do it all again.
It's going to be alright.

Well, as good as time as could be had w/o Fishy. Although I can say that I didn't fall off anything so that could be construed as fun
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Tuesday evening Misa and I walked from the Booby Bar to Thunderdome, the Temple, Megatropolis, the trash fence and back. It was quite a trip.

Keep yourself busy with art and fun and the weeks will fly. Before you know it it'll be June of 2011 and then you'll feel like you have no time left and it'll all be rush, rush, rush.

Hi, Misa.

I'm just having straight coffee. I may have over did it on playa, I'm taking it easy for a while.

Sorry I missed you Sput, but glad you had some time with the amazing Misa! What a gal!

Worrying a bit about YG. Hope all is well in his house.

So let me make a recommendation for a morning snack. If you have a Dunkin Donuts near you, pick up a Monkey See, Monkey Donut. This is the winner of the national create a donut contest and my daughter's donut was the winner. Here is Rachel....

Fishy! My dear fishy, we missed you so.

Dang, I just can't get my workday started without a quick snuggle in the NEB. Anyone available?

Here I sit...

Alone in the office, in my all-too-quiet cubicle, the cabinets and walls strangely somewhat playa colored...

Searching the mundanity of emails... dealing with bosses... scheduling meetings...

And paperwork. Mounds lf paperwork...

Yet I am strangely brought back home. The feel and smell of the playa on my purse, in my coffee cup, a chance and random thought, an email, a hug, schwag still worn...

50 weeks. 6 days. Counting minutes. So much to do already... in preparation for the homecoming which comes all too slow, and passes all to quick into the abyss...

And the love is not vanished, but felt, reinforced, cherished.

Makers, anyone??

Absolutely!

And I'm particularly glad I wasn't drinking this year - from the tiny taste of Slivovice I'll bet more than a little of that would have knocked me on my butt.

Welcome back to the Real World, you hippies. I know you took a shower when you came back, but you probably missed a spot. Anyway, get back to work. ;)

Ha ha! At the motel in Bend I took a long hot shower, then a bath (mostly to soak my various scrapes, cuts, and owies) then ANOTHER shower, cold, with peppermint Dr. Bronner's for the nice tingly feeling. Then another shower in the morning. I don't think I missed any spots.

ETA: Sorry you couldn't make it this year. Hope to see you next time around!

ETA: That is, sorry you weren't at the burn, not sorry you couldn't join me for the shower.
