Prepare for it all. I am west of Tahoe and we have had unusual weather the past 2 weeks! IT will be heat wave central 95-100 for a couple of days, and then drop down to 65 for a couple of days. Should make for fun unique playa weather. Wish I was going this year to experience the more severe changes.

We had ICE on the puddles on top of our shade structure on Tuesday morning. Not that the temps got down to freezing (???) but the air over and under thing iced the water over. I actually wished I'd brought my winter parka to work in rather than my light jackets or fabulous faux furs.

I overheard someone say that it was 36 on the playa Tuesday morn.
This morning, Sept 10th it was 44 at 6:45. I went outside to water the front yard (whatever it is thats growing out there) and the hose and sprinkler was frozen.
