Rosemary Vandenbroucke, 28, of Hong Kong, was arrested Sept. 6 by Reno police on charges she was involved in a traffic accident and fled the scene, and had no proof of insurance. Vandenbroucke had been driving a 40-foot rental motorhome that she had rented from Reno and took to Burning Man. Police said she was arrested at the event on charges related to possessing ectasy. Vandenbroucke was released from the Washoe County Jail later in the day. She and a friend had come from Hong Kong to attend Burning Man, police said.

Your so smart that drug laws are stupid huh?

Maybe she wont bring her fucking drugs to Burning Man after thinking she was smarter than all the rest of us..

It's the likes of the two of you that brings the cops down on BM.

I can smell drugs as I pass camps.
I can smell some drugs in a persons sweat.. Just be lucky I'm not narc..

I know some of the old camps that have drug.. The police never go near them..

Waved good by to a camp on my way out.. They were all fucked up.. But they were all in camp.. Looked like a family sitting out in the evening..

Grow up and don't be stupid by thinking your to smart..

She violated "one stupid thing at a time". She is paying the stupid tax and I don't feel sorry for her at all.

Fucking tourists. No, I don't know that, maybe she is a "burner gal", but just as likely she was a looky-loo with enough money to make the trip. Anyone know her personally?

At the bar I stopped at on the way home from the airport Thursday morning (THAT'S a great sentence), nobody really knew what BM was, but the bartender said, "Oh, some model ran her RV into people in Vegas after leaving that."

Fuck her and her stupid-ass idiocy.

You break the law, you get caught, man up and face the consequences.

Never even mind the drugs, she was in an ACCIDENT, wherein she might have KILLED somebody. I hope she grows up.

How the fuck was she able to rent an rv without proof of insurance? Did she waive the insurance without some of her own? If so, the police aren't going to be only people after her.

yeah, I was surprised she was able to drive away from the rental place without insurance. RGJ is notorious for getting the facts wrong though.

I was going to comment about this, but no words can express my opinion...

It was for "no proof", meaning she had the insurance docs but used them first to make a straw to snort her crushed X tabs combined with playa dust and dehydrated navel lint, then because the j.o.t.s. were out of paper, and finally to roll a fattie...

WIthout insurance the rental place can't get plates for it. Nevada has been anal about that longer than California!

Well, luckily someone in the comment section on that article said it nicely:

"Correction: She was booked at *Is*hoe County Jail. No "was" with her. "
