re-introduction
B'irgin in 04, haven't been able to get back since. Bludgeoned by the default world, I let my old account die from inactivity, so I gave up waiting for a password reset and just made a new username and account. Gunning for getting back in '11.

Feels weird, really. Like taking too much time off in the middle of college, only to return and see that all the names and faces have changed. (Well, not all, but you get the idea.) Yeah, default really kicked me in the balls these past several years; last three were a downright bludgeoning assault. Divorce, legal trouble, repetitive job loss, etc. Barely kept my head above water.
Got really bummed I missed 'Metropolis', 'cause that stuff's right up my alley. With all I've been through, though, 'Rites' should be especially significant for me. Just gotta keep clearing hurdles.
Got spoiled my first year, in that we took an art car. Really want to do something like that again. I am sketching out some ideas, not only for art cars but for an installation.
Should I make it out there, I hope someone else is driving after the gate, 'cause I might be too teary-eyed to navigate.

Unless, of course, he's backed his butt up to GASSO on the Esplanade and gotten more than he bargained for.teardropper wrote:Ah, jeez... hate to see a grown man cry.Tin Halo wrote: I hope someone else is driving after the gate, 'cause I might be too teary-eyed to navigate.
Me, too. It was difficult to sleep last night, as my brain has started chewing on art car ideas, art installation ideas, survival prep, and getting the fuck outta Dodge.teardropper wrote:Unless it's in BRC.
Hope to see you in the dust... Welcome back.
