A couple of years ago on the playa a camp set up this game with a big inflated matress thingy with two cylindrical platforms on it (there's surely a name for this sport but I don't know what it is...). The players each climbed up onto a platform and faced off with inflated bats. First one to whack the other off their platform wins.

I was feeling kinda cocky and climbed up. The guy on the other platform said "A GIRL! I can't beat up a GIRL!".

So I smacked him one with my bat... a good solid hit, that didn't *quite* send him over but definately gave him something to think about.

He proceeded to knock the stuffing outta me, but I will *never* forget the expression on his face after that initial smack.

Actually, one of the things I like best about the Tancorix is the way he wears his heart on his sleeve. It can get messy, but I have a weakness for people who actually give a damn. And when they back it up with action, it's candy and flowers time.
