What does it mean when a girl.......
What does it mean when a girl flips her hair?
1 flip: " hey look i just washed it & it smells good "
2 flips: " Dammit didnt you notice me the first time? "
1 curl w/ fingers: " uh. better than my nose "
2 curls w/ fingers: " shit! i cant get the gum out!"
just wondering. i notice a lot of girls do this. is it a female trait for attracting the opposite sex? or a fackin glitch in the matrix? It's by all means an interesting body language from the smarter and more sexier species.

i used to watch my sister (whom we called Rupunzel, that had hair to her ankles) do big hair swings and this great jib she used to do...
then i used to imagine her bald, to see what she looked like swinging around like she did. it was great... Ingve Malmsteen would have been fun to watch!

That's really funny, which reminds me.technopatra wrote:..it more frequently means "damn I wish I could keep my hair outta my face".
Better than a mustache, ya never know sometimes ya know. Like say you get into a situation where someone says something funny and like you feel something in your nose and you think it might be a hair from your mustache and you do one of those not open your mouth kinda laughs you know like, "a hum hum hum" and it turns out that it's not a hair but a bogger that flys outta your face ya know.

sometimes depends on what exactly she is doing when she flips her hair.
If you are getting direct or sly covert eye contact, odds are good its a attraction thing, otherwise is probably getting hair out of the way.
Sometimes I get up late for work and brush my (fairly long) hair in the car on the way and this seems to cause traffic problems. Curious to know the strength in comparison of brushing one's hair verses the flip or curl, and if it is like soft-core voyerism or something...

Er, not really DVD Burner, i think its just because I live in bumfuck tobbaco country in north carolina where any female of the human species attracts attention. It sometimes weirds me out, because I am not attempting to gain such attention, I am just a slacker usually late for work and its convenient. Was just kinda curious about what it is about ladies brushing their hair that causes such behaviour, the looks from the locals is something akin to watching the girl next door getting undressed in front of a window or something.

haha.... I see an interesting parallel here... popups = hair, website = face.blyslv wrote:Dear Mr. Stay Frosty,
What the fuck with all the pop-up ads on your website? Howzabout a little warning?
Thank you.

about as much warning as I can give you is as much as chris elliot gave in cabin boy,
"Look out for iceburgs!"
"okay you hit one!"

What are you implying?rev. lucifer wrote:Yes in the south a woman brushing her hair brings back memories of their mom and sisters and it tends to get them all hot and bothered. Sadly it also works the same if they see a man brushing his hair. That's the south for ya :)

I'm actually simelier to you, VerbenaMaya, in that I do grooming chores on busses or the street or in the truck. For much the same reason. But if you look at ettiquette books--even Miss Manners, I believe--you'll find out that many people still consider it an uncomfortable mix of private and public and they frown on it. Even someone as socially oblivious as I can be in a relitively relaxed area like San Francisco picks up on those vibes sometimes. So you could be getting both disapproval and voyerism.

See now I don't know which makes more sense.
Rev. Lucifer's reply about being reminded of intimate incestuos desires,
or Crytpo's logic. Likely both apply around here.

You dug up my DOG?!!! But he died in, like, 1984, you sick, uhm, dead-dog-digger-upper!!!
Oh, well. So, how does he look after these twenty or so years? Any signs of success for my "Reanimate the Dead" experiments?
