That's part of the fucking problem- I drink water like I live in a fishbowl, and I live at sea-level. Unless I'm out clubbing or the very rare wine with dinner, water is pretty much all I drink. My fucking school fucking dropped me out of my class because I didn't log in the first week, if they'd fucking bothered to check with the gd professor they'd know we were cool, so now I am losing this class for the month, putting my whole fucking graduation schedule off course.
And my fucking friend who got murdered by my other fucktard friend right before I left, they're having a "free garage sale" today at his house to give away what's left, and I'm stuck here at work.
And it's only 11 fucking a.m. and I am SO FUCKING BORED.

As for me- The Gout is down by about half (I can actually walk without screaming now), and should be mostly gone in a few days. I still have to be fucking careful because if I'm vertical too much it flares back up, but, fuck, at least it's going away.
Though I will be fucking kicking myself for weeks over letting this happen. I'm eating Humble Fucking Pie.

Well, I finally fucking did it. After all these years, I finally hit my leg with a chain saw. Fortunately my kneecap seems to be pretty tough. The saw wasn't running very fast.

gyre, I've been cutting for many years. It was just a freak sorta thing. I cut a fucking tree that I did not know had thorns. When one of them ripped down my arm, it broke my concentration and I let the Butt of the log kick the saw at me.

It can happen.
I've trained a lot of friends to use saws, and nearly all of them have missed all of the basic safety precautions, even though there are plenty of fucking books telling people, sometimes in the box with the saw.
And most of it is just obvious.
(Don't leave your head in line with the blade. Ditto for legs.)
Best thing I learned is to always act as though the blade will follow through.
We recently had a cutter saw off his own arm up in a tree.
Very lucky to survive.
He wants to go back to tree trimming.

I slit the knee with a big air disc cutter. It was moving so fast it burned the cut so there wasn't any blood..
Took it and got it cleaned and stiched.. They put a shell behind the knee to keep it from bending..
Working in the foundry is hot.. To hot to have a plastic brace.. Took it off. Bent the knee.. Reopened the cut.. This time they wired it closed and put a cast on it..

Fuck! We laugh about it now, but our return to defaultia was something of the collision of several events caused by one. Upon our fucking arrival to our domicile, there was this distinct smell of death in the house. A fucking light on our fucking fresh-water aquarium caused a breaker to trip on the main box. Even though it was plugged into a GFI, it did not trip. I suspicion because the light was only 2 prong, there was no ground to cause it to trip.
Anyway,,,, not only was that aquarium fucking dead, but also our Reef aquarium with literally hundreds of corals, snails and crabs along with our prized marine beta (kind of a grouper) which were all tits up in some kind of morphogenic soup. Not only that, but that circuit also provided power to our fucking freezer! So not only was there rotting aquatic critters, but also rotting meat and defrosted bloody ice water soaked into the carpet.
Add this to unloading our fucking BM shit, cleaning the rented trailer and RV and you have an overwhelmed couple of grandparents.
It's all fucking good now,,,,, freezer's defrosted, carpet is clean, and we have a beautiful fresh-water aquarium in the living room. The reef system was years in the making. Along with thousands of fucking dollars,,,, so it was nice while it lasted,,,,, but too fucking much work to do it at this stage in my life.
But to top it all off, upon returning the RV,,,, somewhere between Ventura and Riverside (about 120 miles), the left outside rear tire evidently went flat. When I gassed it up just before taking it to the rental place, this tire's tread was gone,,,,, I mean fucking non-existing gone,,,, all that was left was the two sidewalls attached to the fucking wheel.
So that is the way the rental place got their fucking RV back. It was fucking cleaner than we got it,,,,, but it had a fucking booboo. It was a fitting finish to our fucking chaotic return to life on the fucking beach.
