aye, ye have a cool head for handling invaders, ygmir. scurvy mite must be new. I ain't seen sign of the wae beasty. I'm using some of that African ground nut paste they be growin' in the southern colonies on a bit of spring activated machinery. Don't want it comin' back all a sneaky wise like they be known to do.

Sorry I keep disappearing. but in a few weeks, I should hopefully be in a place and moved in and I will have lots more time and maybe be a little more settled into Defaultia. ::grubbles::

I was wondering if anyone had pictures from the eplaya meet & greet. I was so busy meeting everyone and excited to put faces to names that I didnt snap a single picture of it. Me, the shutterbug. If anyone has some, will you please let me know. They aren't going to spread across the nternet, just for my personal little scrapbook.

I'm over at the simulated project table, with a pass through window adjacent to the bar, cleaning off some electronic schwag/moop... Found a little plasma light, after a little cleaning, determined it is actually really truly moop.

Damn, I missed 'talk like a pirate' day here. I could have had some real fun. But, alas, I was busy on my new project.

I purchased a 9-piece Tama Rockstar drum set off of Craigslist for $380, including all the hardware, cymbals, and a drum throne. It has four rack toms, two floor toms, two bass drums, and a really nice Pearl Signature Series snare drum. Only thing I didn't like about it was the color. It was a plum purple gloss. So, I purchased some flat black Rustoleum enamel protection and spent all day yesterday refinishing the drum shells. I got all the toms complete, only the bass drums remain. They look amazing. Pictures when completed...

Wow what a wonderful weekend.
Something about having people over for a get together got lots of unpack cleaning etc....done.! no really DONE!

YAY!!!!!
And then....
wowser what a day and night of debauchery! Air Races in the back yard...
BBQ every kinda meat product you can imagine!
Drinks...oh yeah, well we are a BAR right? hahahaaaaa
funny things that make you go ROFLMAO...heheheeee

Yup was a great weekend, yesterday was a great hangover...lazy yum yums....

Im now starting to feel a wee bit human again....

Absinthe in the states does not have much thujone, which is a pity. I'm surprised how many of my friends do not know how to properly prepare Absinthe. A friend gave me a bottle of Absinthe for my birthday and he didn't know what an Absinthe spoon was... even when I showed him mine.

I don't know the brand he had, but it was terribly bitter... even after the sugar and cold water. Guess it's time to break out the Absinthe recipe book and find a sweeter concoction...

Caught a baby possum in the living room next door.
They were hysterical.

Spent the other day helping people move and listening to Yerka's czech accent.
We can't guess how typical he is, in any way.

He says he thinks root beer tastes like toothpaste.

He seems amazed I have heard of Prague.
I said "It's that old russian town, isn't it?"

He tried to tell me how your entire name is pronounced, Misa, but I think he's wrong.

Cod, the fish. Which reminds me I need to print out a copy of the new Seafood watch list. It was good!

I was going to try to go to Alchemy but its while my boss is on vacation so I can't be gone. But I will be going to Myschevia. Now I have to start finding clothes to wear there. Mine are still in Nevada. Long story. But I don't know if they will be back in time. So first, complete aprtment hunting, then costume hunting.

Then to Upstate to visit with my family.
