A friend of mine would like to volunteer with DPW in the commissary. Who should she contact? Unfortunitely, she is not on the net so email would be difficult. If email is the only way, I could mediate between if necessary.

DPW Volunteer Contact?
Mayfield's the volunteer wrangler this year. His email is [email protected] and his pone number is 775 557-2200. Apparently, all of the slots on the 2004 DPW crew are full, but things happen, and he's encouraging people to contact him so he an put them on a waiting list of sorts.
If I'm not mistaken the commissary is being contracted out by the project. I wouldn't imagine that they'll be looking for volunteers this year because they are a commercial service that probably has to adhere to all sorts of laws, regs and requirements.
The point made about DPW being full as far as volunteers go is also something I've heard.
