Help me with a business idea (mobile/iPhone publishing)

Hey Burners,
I'm looking for some encouragement and a creative spirit, so I guess this is the best forum for that :) [and it's not a spam - I'm a burner, in 2009 I came 6000 miles to BRC from Europe :]

Here is the pitch: a company that does mobile / iPhone publishing. That is - we would find authors that have some interesting content to share (ones that wrote a book, a blog, or painted sth, or make music), and that have an idea for an iPhone app. We will prepare the app & help to market / advertise it, and then split the profit.

What do you think? I guess some of you work in publishing industry and some of you are authors. Do you know anybody who could be interested? What are the challenges to running a publishing company?
