Bear with me. This is a preemptive fuck because other than my health issues my life is going really really well. I'm Jewish- if my life is going really really well I know I'm about to hit a major fuck-up around the corner. Think of this post as a hippie "centering" thing. I just want to say I know things will fuck up so that when they do I'm mentally prepared.

The CT scan came back, there's only one small "non-obstructing" stone, no surgery. The bloodwork shows I have very high uric acid levels (and fucked up vitamin D levels for some reason), but it's not critical. I see the doc in a week & a half and then we'll figure out which medicine to put me on to balance out the uric acid. He also says to drink lots of water. I probably drink close to a half a gallon a day as it is. I don't know if I can actually fit more than that in my body.
Now I'm really going to be fucked in the near future. I think I need some bad news soon. Does the fact that my unemployment is running out and I still can't find a fucking job count?

(FB post)Went onto base this morning, north gate, by the ammo dumps. Large WHUMP on the roof/side of the car, we pulled over. So did other cars. "Did you feel that?" Yep, a shockwave, but we didn't hear an explosion or see aircraft up. WTF? Got a headache shortly after and so did Larry. Weird. His is gone already, mine is not.

My mother started chemo this morning....
11 years ago today my extended family was rocked by the brutal murder of Pamela Butler at the hands of Keith Nelson, a sorry son of a bitch who continues to clog up the courts with appeal after fucking appeal. The death chamber at the Federal Pen at Terre Haute is a much nicer place to die than the field in Oak Grove where Pamela was found. We will not rest until the hearse hauling your body rolls out the prison gates and we can stand over your grave and piss on it.
There is a special place in hell for child rapists and murderers....the media coverage may have faded but the resolve to see Justice carried out most certainly has not!

Fuck, in October I usually am baking and putting up the autumn and Halloween decorations, but this year.... dad's house and sorting the stuff consumes me. Even when I'm not doing it, I'm thinking about it. Depressing and stressing. The basement tenant did not move out although he swears it will be any day now. I know I have to file eviction papers, fucking dammit. I've been waking up at two or three in the morning, sure sign of stress for me. So my day is fucking sucking.

Kinetic, I have a question. Man's nature hasn't really changed in the last several thousand years. We've essentially done away with capital punishment. The ultimate deterrent is rarely used. It IS used in police killings. It is believed to be a deterrent.
I'm truly sorry to hear the sad, sad fucking story that your family has had to endure. Do you think that the ultimate punishment is used too sparingly?
