Nice!

Yeah, I've been working on a workshop, and it is in good shape, but certainly not complete yet. It does chew through a person's resources! But all in all, I think it is effort well spent.

I still get a kick out of how concrete can be so fluid one day, and like a rock the next. I guess that is the kid in me that I hold on to.

Morning.

Had a strange dream. It started off with me in drag, not sure why.

But I was in normal clothes and it was night. I noticed a strange light in the sky and discovered that it was a UFO. I watched it fly behind me and hover over a hospital. It got close enough for me to hear unearthly sounds emitting from it. Then, it landed on a pier across from the hospital. The pier was only 30-50 feet long. At the same time, about two other UFOs arrived. They were only about 5-10 feet wide, very small. People started walking towards them. One girl was at the end of the pier and tried to touch the UFO. It then extended a robotic arm and grabbed her. It looked like she was being put underneath the water. Everyone started to panic and another UFO reached for someone else. I ran and hopped in my vehicle (a large pickup truck), with a couple other people. Strangely enough, the girl that was grabbed on the pier was with us. She said that they told her that they didn't want to hurt her. But, right after she said that, one of the UFO/robot things tried to get into the truck and hit the door.

I awoke right after that...

Had a small case of Neilasparophobia this morning... Damn dreams...

Theres always room and dust. ::coughs::

You know the dust on the playa never got to me but the dust in Dallas was harsher.

Anyways off topic. Who wants to have some autumn fun?

I say lets toss them into the NEB!

Oooh... Pile o' Leaves!!! Wheee!!!

And pastries... from the Czech Republic? Wow, those look GOOD!!! What's in them??

Snocats? I've seen them used here and there... even considered getting one to build an MV out of (I want a playa tank!!) but it'd take months to flatten out the treads so you didn't frack up the playa... Last one I saw was up outside of Carson, but it looked OLD... Still, as long as the tracks and drive were good and the motor was solid, the rest is just bodywork, and that can be replaced with 1/4" plate... er... sheet metal.

those look like Canadian maple leaves!!!

howdy folks, haven't been here in awhile. Miss you all. Been trying to hide the bitter bitch I'm becoming from this divorce proceedings. Having trouble doing that so I'm staying in hiding til it's done. Don't want my burner friends to ever experience the wrath I am feeling. The tale is too long and too ugly to share - I just want it over with but it drags on interminably.

Made it to the burn but it took me all week to get there - long story. Arrived on Saturday and stayed til Monday evening. Kept close to camp at the Black Rock Beacon. Would have liked to see each of you but needed to keep my experience small or my head might have exploded - I did all I could do.

I came by every day to check if you were home yet. Apparently they had a bet going as to what day you'd arrive. Friday evening they told Artemis not to come by Saturday cuz they wouldn't let you in the gate that late... she was disappointed cuz it gave her an excuse to talk to a cute guy over there. :-)

and yes, please feel free to vent in the Fuck thread about that stupid divorces. Divorces fucking suck!

I'm thinking of maybe making one of those this year for our thanksgiving, but only if I can get more than just me at home. Otherwise I may just get sushi or something

Invite some other singles over - there's lots of folks who can't tolerate their own toxic families anymore and would love to spend a traditional meal with a friendly guy like you!
