((((LeChatNoir))))

Dammit!!
Our matriarch Alley (about 12 years old) was diagnosed with a hyper-thyroid. She too has steadly gotten thinner and frail over the last several months. Right now we're giving her 1/2 a tablet twice daily of "Methimazole". On Nov 1st she gose to vet for another blood test. Her appitite has always been good and it has'nt changed so I guess thats good.
We found her while we were living in Pennsylvania when she was about a year old. She was abandonded.
I guess its only a matter of time for her.

Sorry for your loss, LCN. We can hope Micah is at peace now having lived a long and happy life.

Another stray may come to you soon and fill the void.

LeChat,

I'm saddened to hear about Micah. Animals can find a special place in our hearts, and it hurts to lose them. I'm sure he had a good life out hanging out with you.

Aw damn, LCN!!! Will be thinking of Micah, that his trip on the River Styx is a peaceful and smooth one, and that fish jump into the boat with him!!!

(Also putting out the bowl of sweet cream and fresh Anchovies, and tipping one easterly in his memory!!)

And we'll hold you in our thoughts tonite, hon... it hurts losing a family member, but he will see you when (in a few dozen centuries or so!!) you cross the same river to be with him. Sad that this whole life thing is so fragile... ya know.

Kisses on the cheek to you and K, and a doulehanded ear and neck skritch for Micah!

Damn, I was just watching one of his Disney movies- "Kidnapped" a week before he died. Peter Finch was in that one too. I Googled him and saw that he was still living and now....this. Death sucks or there must be more to it...

Yeah. I was'nt aware that he had a part in Swiss Family Robinson until two years ago.
My parents took me and my sister to see it at a drive in theater. I guess it was re-released after its original in 1960 cuz we saw it in like 1965 or 66.

Well, at least he died clean.

Sorry, that's no fucking comfort at all.
