Hey Gaz,
go to www.playadust.org and check us out. If you can't make it to the burn this year you might wanna consider our Spanish event which happens at the end of July.

Hey there PB glad to hear the old pioneer spirit is still in the blood of and Englishm'n. I'm from London and have already landed in the US for my journey into the vaults of heaven.
Getting a ticket isn't too late. last year i paid for mine on line and picked it up from the gates box office.
Staying in Tucson this year so the journey is mostly by air as would be yours too to Reno so it is possible to fly in and get everything you could need form somewhere local. Or even join a theme camp and ask them if you could join them with your amazing gifts or something special tht youhave that you can share.
I'm considering staying with the burners hostel at BM but t hey do love travelers who have come a particularily long way to stay with them in Reno too. if you fancy it. CAr hire here is cheap but there are a load of ride share programmes from all over the place to the playa
There a only a few Of us Brits ther so try and keep up the numbers and get that ticket.
you aint going to regret it but you will get home exhausted and all your mates will be dead jealous even though you will never be able to explain what it was like in a million years.
See you there?

I'm coming from London with a couple of mates
My friend Ben met a lovely LA couple at the Glade festival this year who invited him to come with them to Burning Man next year. However, last weekend I persuaded him to go this year so a bit last minute. Can't decided whether to Fly in to LA or SFO but cheapest tickets around £470 inc. Tax for either destination. It seems easier to get a direct flight to LA and since my mate wants to end up there I guess it makes sense to start from there. check out www.maporama.com as it gives you estimate travel times. I think it's about 8 hours to Reno so add on a bit for the extra 100 miles. Is it really heavy traffic getting down there? When is the best time to go - anyone??
Only 2 or 3 of us going from here so far but if there is anyone else travelling on their own they could hook up with us and we could get a bigger car/van/camper (though we are thinking of doing a bit of site seeing on the way back - perhaps death valley and Yosemite National Park - any suggestions?)

Big Chill
I would do that if I was going but I have decide to forego Big Chill to save my pennies for BM.
