unsolicited advice...

Never eat/blow/spray flame while wearing a boa around your neck...
Wear cotton or wool clothing...
Cover your hair 'til you're confident...
Have a safety nearby, with wet towel/duvatyne/fire blanket in hand...
Don't light up until you've practiced 5 minutes without whacking yourself...
