most notable ways people where interacting

What where some of the funniest, most creative or interesting ways you saw people interacting at the burn this year?

Prolly the funniest one I saw was the "peep-a-boo" building- this dude had a cardboard box on colored in like a tall building with doorways that opened to his butt, his package and his nipples- he'd let people "peep" inside and do what they wanted- funny as hell

another one that struck me as kind of annoying, but creative anyways where the group of guys in center camp accidentally sneezing on people using hidden waterbottles

out on esplinade there where some chicks dressed up as police citing tickets and spanking people- that was a bit creative

Id honestly like to find some fun ones that I can do out here in the real world. This was my first burn and theres definitely some good lessons I got from it. One of them being that it is important to be more interactive with the people around me- to help wake them up, and to wake myself up as well.

Id prolly end up in jail with the peep-a-boo costume, but it would be a good costume for a halloween party for sure lol

During the DPW parade I watched a DPW truck packed with people pull up alongside another, which had a stripper pole and a DPW hottie swinging off of it. The passenger in the first truck (a woman) wanted to spank the ass of the DPW dancer, so they stopped moving for a moment while everybody celebrated.

This backed up the whole parade, and since honking her horn and yelling "HURRY THE FUCK UP! MOVE YOUR ASS!" didn't work, the woman driving the DPW van behind them simply slammed on the gas and rear-ended the truck in front of her and then shook her head and yelled "WHAT THE FUCK?!" What a delicious crunching sound!

Then, surrounded by gawking spectators, they rolled on.

The roving construction workers brigade was fucking hilarious! I had to laugh at myself because I saw it in the guide just that afternoon, and a few hours later when I was biking around trying to track down a friend's camp I got stopped by them and still had a 'WTF!? This Is Burning Man, There's No CONSTRUCTION Here!!' moment.

I think it was Weds. night somewhere in the vicinity of Hanoi between 6 & 7:30. A camp was blocking all foot/bike traffic on the street and forcing everyone to do 35' of catwalk strutting. We had a blast!....and a spanking :oops:

The 'Slow the Fuck Down' group on 8:30 with their STFD stop signs were great. Loved the concerned look on the faces of those passing by as they were verbally barraged for moving too damn fast. Then there was the couple that took it to the extreme and took a solid 5 minutes to move 10 feet.

I was particularly fond of the knife fight flash mob. Only 20 stitches this year.

Hands down the weirdest thing I saw was at one day at center camp there was this naked guy who was completely painted purple with prosthetic ears and a nose. He was going up to people and making these weird snorting sounds and sniffing people like he was pretending to be some kinda animal. It was the only time I really felt uncomfortable. I think that was a bit too out there even for burning man.

{I saw TOO MUCH, much is still burned into the back of my brain, some I can print}

The last shift or hours Center Camp Cafe was open, Sunday night? or Monday morning? I can't recall...I strolled over to CC (my camp was ultra close to CC) and when I wandered around inside, just checking out who and what might be there, doing whatever; I hear lots and lots of yelling over towards the coffee serving counters...turns out to be the volunteers yelling at the folks who wanted to buy Coffee or Chai...stuff like;

"Get out of here!!!!"
"Go away!!!!"
"Get lost!!!"
"Go back to wherever you came from!!!!"
"Why are you still here?!!!!"
"Get in you're F'ing cars and leave!!!!"
and many other things I can't recall at this moment...

I thought huh? Must be a joke, tradition, meltdown, other______?
The oddest thing, the folks waiting in a rather fragmented line, just let these yells blast right through them and continued to casually wait to order! and the cafe was still serving coffee and chai!....needless to say I wasn't craving coffee that badly...just watching was enough to wake me up!

Eventually, I wandered back to my camp and where we had strong black tea...easy and hot~

I think it was all in good fun; but wow!...it reminded me of a NYC experience! :o

Sounds like they were playing The Weiner's Circle.

I wanted to add this center camp scenario was humorous and not a bad experience. Loud and humorous, all in good fun. Pranksters I am guessing :lol:

All week, everyone at center camp cafe were always extraordinary...there were a couple of burners in our camp with special dietary needs.
CCamp cafe bent over backwards to help in every way they could to get the coffee exact, "udder" perfection. Thanks! :D
