* easier to find a parking spot
* kids having a good time doesn't make adults feel less hard-core
* based on the above, no endless discussion about banning kids
* fireworks show EVERY night
* DPW stays below ground
* everyone is comfortable admitting that they worship a corporate iconic humanoid figure
* better execution of art installations
* management stays below the radar of participants; doesn't seek narcissistic supply from every wide-eyed newb
* a simple, singular theme: fantasyland
* doesn't try to reinvent itself as something 'new' & evolutionary' to mask over 'lamer every year'
* doesn't pretend it's not an event for the mainstream
* more steampunk

Disneyland is better than Burning Man because:
the people are never ever ever naked in public (for very long even if they try) and their colorful clothes are so tasteful.

I think that's what sic pup meant, Disney has the tunnels (BM is/was supposed to?neon tetra wrote:So does Disney.Sic Pup wrote:It really has underground tunnels engineered by Germans.

Disneyland, great place for children...afterall isn't that the audience they built it for? (I have nothing against children at Disneyland or BM, it's just too bad they can't have a few cocktails, those poor kids!)
Also a great place for people who don't like camping.

Do they have breathtaking aritificial sunrises and sunsets (and moonrises and moonsets) at Disneyland? I didn't notice any.
I think I'll stick with BM; I feel more at home at BM
I'm the MAN in a truck, burner who is stuck, you're in luck! I'll whip out my BIG tow chain and not charge you, not even one lousy buck!
