Daratheresa, bellydancing is fantastic. I highly recommend it. I only wish I'd started it sooner. I have a lot of catching up to do.

(I'm a dance-mad type myself.)

Wow! Good progress, JK!

I'm glad to see people are getting their workouts in.

I've been heavily distracted while on vacation here in Hawaii (on the Big Isle)-- a lot of riding around in a car with sporadic hikes of various lengths and difficulties. (I'd like to make it back here for a longer and less hectic vacation, with lots of time for exploration.)

I took today off and made some progress reading the "Transformation" book in preparation for developing a plan. Hopefully most of it will be read before I return to Wisconsin.

busted out the wii fit this morning and did some time on that. yay step aerobics? also, the hula-hoop game is sexy. and i look cool dressed in a penguin suit. <3 me some wii fit. we almost never use it in the summer because we're outside all day, but it's well worth the $$ i spent on it during the winters. 8)

People will flock, to play, I bet.

Yo, look up "redneck soccer" on google...LOL...it might not get you exercise but it's a flaming, bailng wire wrapped, ball of fuel soaked, toilet paper in the shape of a soccer ball.

Real soccer, sure yea, people might be too tired from bicycling for a real game, but they'll try...especially if the ball is on fire ~O~

Bring something to protect the playa from flaming balls, a tarp or not sure? Not supposed to "melt" the silica in the playa, it causes burn scars.

finally made it to the gym yesterday, did some serious cardio.

going to spend this week cleaning my whole house for christmas... with small children this becomes the workout of champions. laundry baskets are so much heavier to lug around when there is a toddler in them as well as clothes. ;)

I'm not decorating for Christmas. I am still awash in stuff from dad's house. I have to clear it in order to put anything up. Not in the mood. I also have slowed waaaaay down this week. Of course, exercise would make me feel better and it is about the last thing I want to do.

eh, if it weren't for the fact that i have small children i probably wouldn't decorate, either. it's a pretty downer of a christmas, with their dad overseas and all, but we're trying to make the best of it. santa and rampant consumerism and all that fun.

you'll find your motivation again. these things seem to come in cycles; sometimes i'm super motivated and sometimes i feel like doing absolutely nothing, a week or two up, a week or two in between, a week or two down. don't stress over it. :)

Sunny today, going for a good walk soon (made it through the nasty storm) after today, over a week of heavy snow predicted. Hmmm.

Lots of stretching and some careful snow shoveling in my near future.
Doubtful I'll be able to see the lunar eclipse Monday 20th/Tuesday 21st.
Then only 90 days to go and winter will be over, joy.

Go go go lucky!

Sheesh, I scrambling to get outside for the walk before the sun plunks down...moon likes the sun, we are freinds, haha...

EFC chit chat (not thread drift)
I'm gonna yank an old metal trash can outta the snow in my yard and make a burn barrel lucky, haha, it'll be interesting to say the least. Need to think of an interesting design I can do with an angle grinder...fig jam and a few of the guys told me some specifics for good air flow...wish me luck, more to follow...

I do wish you luck, no doubt that you can do it...hope to see it.

On the exercise, if I don't get on the treadmill I will NEVER lose any of my chunk. Just a fact of age/metabolism. I find that somedays I am starting to actually look forward to it. Other days not so much but if I keep at it, it will become a habit and then easier to do...
