My two favorite places were:

Breakfast: Flip jacks on C street btwn 3&4:00. Every morning this guy bill made whole-wheat blueberry pancakes with syrup. Once I found his camp I went there every morning all week.

Dinner: White Dragon Noodle Bar. As if the Blade Runner theme wasn't enough to make me love it; Every evening at sundown they served hot shitake noodles in a delicious beef broth with scallions and everything. Delicious and warmed me right up. I think I went there 3/4 nights in a row. Plus the staff was super awesome.

I frankly could've eaten at those two places everyday and not get tired.

It was Monday, probably around noon.
We had left Reno Sunday night/Monday morning about 1am. This was after barely sleeping Saturday night due to excitement. It took us 7.5 hours to get to camp from Reno. While waiting in line I had munched on trail mix, cookies with m&ms in them and some dried fruit, but nothing really "meal like".

We got to camp at 8:30 a.m. and after that long wait we broke into the cold pabst. We started putting up carports, laying down carpet, hanging camo netting- you know the routine.

About noon my campmate asked us if we were hungry. We all kind of ignored her as we were pounding rebar, etc. She disappeared for a while, then she showed up next to me with a plate and the biggest veggie sandwich I had ever seen- every vegetable she had cut up the day before- spinach, lettuce, bell peppers, cucumbers, sprouts, hummus, and a slice of cheese on two huge pieces of flatbread.

I didn't think I was hungry til I took a bite, and omg that was the best meal out there the entire week.

A close second would be the box of crunch & munch I ate on Burn night.

In '08, I was with the LAFers and one of the campmates made soup every night.
The best one was her jambalaya. Full of crawdad meat,sausage and veggies.

Can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew, barely heated at 4:20 AM, in memory of K Wells an amazing magician and camper fisherman, long gone before his time...(maybe that shitty stew killed him?)

Oh and yea, some of the stuff everyone else mentioned above. Simon where are the rest of my starburst croutons?

At my camp ,The Hang-out, we made playa pizza with a flat bola bread, three kinds of cheese, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, and diced home made meatballs from spaghetti the night before : ) it was fantastic!

Rolled into camp around 3am starving and made myself a burrito with a tortilla and bacon flavored EZ Cheese, then headed back out.

My favorite meal was on Sunday night. Some new friends invited me to join them at a friend's camp. I think it was the tethered avaiation camp. Anyhow, it was such a nice communal experience and will remain one of those little jems that make BM so great.

Homemade chocolate chip cookies. The baked playa surface had been making me think about cookies all week, plus chocolate was a novelty by day 6. It was an unexpected and uncannily spot-on gift.

My best meal on the playa - '08:

Bacon-wrapped slow-smoke barbecued pork tenderloin sandwiches.
or
Bacon wrapped filet mignon.

My best meal of '09: Sail Man's tequila-marinaded alligator sausage

My best meal on the playa '10:

Lemon and pepper seasoned tuna steaks with garlic buttered French bread, followed by a nice chablis, brie and crackers

All were delectable.

I was walking from 1 to 10 at about 4AM and some guy in the middle of the playa was making cheeseburgers and gave me one. One of the best cheese burgers I ever had.
