Well, they didn't actually ask anyone here to buy it.

And it doesn't sound like a commercial venture either.

Yes, he did ask people to buy it:
Post subject: 6' stretch hexayurt for sale
It doesn't have to be "a commercial venture", private sales and rentals are forbidden here. Tickets being the exception. Bartered rideshares and camping arrangements slide if negotiated off eplaya, as do buying goods together.

That's why the guy who wants a roommate thinks I am treating him badly, he doesn't see it as commerce. But burner or no, it falls into the realm of What is Not Allowed. This is not a democratic process here. Never has been.

Looks like someone in a really poor country is getting paid a few pennies a post to try to make a fake answer for the topic, then insert the spam. It's not a machine, unless they're a lot smarter in reading the threads than we expect.

It's probably all someone does all day. :?

Can't tell if this would count as commerce or not. The link in his profile seems to just go to a site of family photo's, not a commercial site.

I leave it to the Wise Ones.

He's talking abstractly as far as I can tell, and the link is information, not commercial.
