Anyone have and willing to share instructions for making a pedal car? I did google it and all I found were sites selling them for around $20.
We are looking at maybe making one if we have the extra $200 to $500 for materials.
Pedal Car?

That was a quick search, 2 pages of results, but I think this is the closest.
If you don't have Instructables Pro membership, I highly recommend it. I've only used the site for a couple of projects but its paid off in spades already.

Weird cause I use instructables, guess I didn't think to look on there for a pedal car. Thanks Eric!Eric wrote:There is: Adult Pedal CarFIGJAM wrote:I thought there was one on Instructables.

I plane on useing two 20 inch bikes for front and rear wheel frame.. Cut them and strech the main frame.. ( recubent or ebike peddeling) Will use a 26 inch crank and rear end in the center for peddle and gears.. Leving the crank on one 20inch rear for final drive.. Already have the two 20 inch and 26 inch.. Also have a bunch of alumi from a RV shade arms.. There is enough angel to build a good frame.. It weighs 18pounds before cut and scrape.. Holding out for some lighter bike frames.. Just keep watching Craig's List..
Will be posting pictures on Damn Contraption thread..

here is what I built for BM 2009. It's made from two BMX bikes for the front and two mountain bikes for the rear.
