Banning "raves" in California

I don't attend the Electric Daisey Carnival here in LA or any other "raves", but I find this type of legislation very troubling.

Who defines what is a rave? To some burning man is a rave.

Drugs are already illegal? So now we can ban events were people may take drugs?

Welcome to 2011. This is just one more case with our government sticking their noses in our urinal while we are peeing.
Next, the "Think Police" will be arresting us if they don't like our thoughts!

It's very fashionable to hate 'raves' on the board.

Anyway, Fiona Ma is an imbecile, IMO.

I wouldn't worry too much though; I doubt it will go anywhere.
However, there will probably be more crackdowns, parties shutting down for trivial offenses, etc.
After all, we are a very reactionary society.
