Ive found this much out...one, i got locked out again, two, this is very easy to do simply by typing the persons screen name and then fucking up the password 5 times in a row... It is a prank and a pain in the ass and probably will be copycatted as a way to shut people up, at least for half an hour..

Two, or three or nine can play that game...

Maybe a security box should be added so a random code needs to be punched in before you get to the login area. I know that this keeps me at out when I am trying to buy tickets for events. Who can really read half that squiggly crap.

Simon is a very strong personality who steps on a lot of toes. I can understand how that wouldn't mesh well with some people. And on the internet, there's always someone pulling some sort of lame joke to show how clever he/she is.

And maybe a little paranoid about the mouse? Wouldn't he go after you or me first?

i confess, it was me.

okay, not really.

long ago and far away i used to run a phpbb message board. every once in awhile there would be some sort of error with the mysql database and users that were really active would trip the lockout just by logging in normally. we never did figure out why. and i think this place runs on a newer version of phpbb. but it might be relevant....
