First and second answers are to read, re-read and memorize the first timer's guide and the survival guide.
Edited for proper title.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

I figure if Hazel can sign up to be mayor for another 4 years at the age of 89, then I might be able to keep going to BM till I'm 90.
.
(Hazel McCallion, mayor since 1978 of Mississauga - which is Canada's sixth largest city - has again been re-elected as mayor. In February she'll turn 90!)

Technically, I can't really be a virgin at my age, but I can be a virgin burner. (Thankfully, I make up for my chronological age with the maturity of an eight-year-old ... at least, according to my wife.)
I doubt if I can scrape together either time or money to come from Winnipeg for 2011, but I am aiming for 2012. Woohoo!
The more I think about it, the more the idea of spending a week on a dry lake in Nevada with a bunch of half-naked people, sleeping on a 3-inch layer of dust, and foregoing shaving, showers, deodorant, cell phones AND indoor plumbing ... actually sounds kinda cool.
(I may change my mind about the deodorant though.)
And with all due respect to fellow male forum members, I am not going to shave myself anywhere that I don't normally shave, just for Burning Man. I ams what I am, and that's the way God made me. (Thankfully, I will keep my shorts on the whole time though!)

We'll see!
One of the nice things about being my age is an appreciation for life in all its forms and an understanding that God made us the way we are - droopy bits and saggy parts included. Being older and conservative, I am not sure how I will handle the nudity but somehow I suspect I will do just fine.
After all, I may be old but I still have an appreciation for the opposite sex, saggy bits and all. (Maybe that's why I have been happily married for all these years.) If my eyes linger a little too long, I apologize in advance, and if it's any consolation, I will probably stare too long at the individuality of the art cars too, so there is nothing creepy about it. In both cases, it is simply silent gratitude to the respective makers for their fine work.
That being said, out of respect, I will always put the camera away whenever nudity is involved.
So yes, I have learned a few things in this life but I am still a virgin in here and have a lot more to learn. On the plus side, I do have over a year to learn more plus all the benefit of these forums.
Take care friends.
