This shit just happened to me too! And I'm not a shit-stirer either! (at least not any more)
Got that too many attempts message, then created a sock to come on and bitch about it, but it logged me in as normal...
eta- this just happened on another board also (of which SoP is also a member of)

I still can quite understand waht someone would gain by getting into an eplaya account. Is it just to jam it up to keep a person from posting? Is it to post something controversial in another person's name? Is it out of boredom?
I can ubderstand someone hacking an eBay account or PayPal to steal something, but eplaya makes no sense.
Could this be just a glitch in the system that's keeping people from logging in from time to time?

Sham, it gets curiouser and curiouser i agree, but it is happening, and now evidently in other locales.

Its not consistent, or computer driven..intentionally targeted, and somewhat sophisticated if Bounce got it on the other board.

Smells chinese...my son just got back from there after spending the year and we did communicate via contraband formats during this time.

Nothing surprises me anymore and i am a very vocal critic of the chinese government in one of my other lives.

Or it could just be some punk in florida who got tweaked out of eplaya just a little while ago...remember?

Its more intriguing than annoying at this point, i enjoy solving puzzles, and am quite dogged about it. Time will tell, everything leaves a trace.
