Well, now it's official. I'm one of the most eligible singles in this town.
Here's the article: http://www.chatterchattanooga.com/news/ ... ngle-city/
I'm the guy in the chartreuse green shirt about halfway down the page.

No doubt, one thing we have in spades in the 'noog is religious nutjobs! Yep, Greyfriar's is still in business. I still go there occaisionally (I don't drink coffee all that much).C.f.M. wrote:...not to be confused with the Young Life leader, a ha ha ha!

Is Greyfriar's still there? My friends opened that up back when I was in college at CC. I sawed it when they were thinking about buying the space...
Lupi's Pizza next door, on the other hand... yum! I also make the tie dye t-shirts for Lupi's. Dorris, the owner, gives me complete creative freedom, which is something I LOVE about her. It makes me work all that much harder to make sure her shirts are beautiful and thus will sell well.
BTW C.f.M., I know we both go to Transformus, but I've never had the pleasure of meeting you face-to-face. Hopefully we can make that happen this coming event. I've thrown my hat in the ring to be the Greeters Team Lead this year.
Actually, I DO wear tie dye quite a bit, AND my chest is kind of hairy, AND I'm kind of outdoorsy too. (Tie dye polo shirts are kind of my thing). So I looked ol' Teal up on Facebook today and sent her a friend request. I thought, "Eh, why not? It's worth a shot! Maybe she might like a hairy tie dye wearin' dude roughly her parents' age!"ibdave wrote:Ring, looks like Teal right below you just might be right for ya...RingO'Fire wrote:Well, now it's official. We had 11 friends in common too, including my nephew's fiancee. I included a little message explaining who I was ("I'm next to you in the Chatter article."), along with the assurance "I swear I'm not creepy - just ask me! ;)"

Hahahahaha - my "tie-dye/Grateful Dead issue." I love it!C.f.M. wrote:BTW C.f.M., I know we both go to Transformus, but I've never had the pleasure of meeting you face-to-face. Doubtful, what with your tie-dye/Grateful Dead issue.
Oh well, I reckon we all have issues of one kind or another. I'm not likely to have these particular issues resolved by the time this summer rolls around - if ever. You never know though, maybe I'll be a dark, moody, brooding, tatted-up, speed metal loving guy dressed all in black by the time July rolls around... and monkeys might fly out of my butt too!
So, if you see a guy at Transformus heading toward you smiling and wearing a tie dye polo, you'd better run! Otherwise, I'm gonna hug the shit out of you, and maybe even get some patchouli on ya!
Just kidding, I hate that shit!

It was this time last year that I shaved my head just like this. It felt like a good idea at the time. Two of my friends got cancer. To show my support I got drunk and shaved my head. Fuck, was that weird. People thought I was the one who had cancer. I didn't show my face outside for 3 months hardly. It's grown back rather nicely now. And it's burgundy purple again.ygmir wrote:
My friends are both in remission now.
No one looks twice at a shaved head.
Try having part of it shaved.
Found out that they shave the part that's convenient for surgery.
It really seems to disturb people.
Halloween next to a car full of leopard skin hats with the normal side to them.
Turned to look at them.
Reaction = stunned silence.
Edited for What's it to you?
