In or Out?...
Are you staying in or going out for your New Years celebration?
I usually always stay in and watch it on the tube it's just far to dangerous to be out. Between the desperate Hoodlums and the desperate cops, you just don't stand a chance.

In!
my lovely girlfriend and i stayed in and watched a documentary about the cutest old couple EVER!
it was a film about the VOGELS a couple in NYC who over the course of 40 years collected one of the finest, most comprehensive assortment of NEW ART that they purchased on a minimal income, often directly from the artists, not to make money, or invest, but because they LOVE ART FOR ARTS SAKE
they ended up donating their multi-million dollar gift of Love to the National Museum of Art in Washington.
they have lived a good life and have done good deeds.
i can only hope to accomplish and be as happy as this amazing couple is/was.
so, in conclusion, i am so glad we stayed in.

We stayed in, and hosted the most epic NYE party ever. It was a blast, nothing got broken except the shower curtain, no one puked in any weird places except on the back balcony, nothing was destroyed except the tray of baby cheeses that got dumped on the floor, no cops were called, nothing but a great time was had, except where the carpet is coming up off the basement steps from one too many slides down it (same guy that wrecked the shower curtain) there were no injuries!

I stayed in... house sitting. I took a nap after work so I could stay up later. ended up falling asleep watching t.v... around what 10:00? woke up at three to turn off the lights, and say Happy new year to the cat. New Years is not a big night for me.
Love the Vogel story. Thank heavens their aquariums never burst. Getting it all out of their apartment and cataloged seemed more an act of salvation than of acquisition. I like that they treasured the ideas behind the art, some of it seemed very conceptual, and they honored the value of that as well.
ed for spelling. hopefully.

I stayed in. It was very cold and I had to work the next day so me and my cats brought in the new year! We toasted with champange and caviar (at their request) and sang Auld Lang Syne on the fence which is a feat in itself as it's a chain link type!
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

I was Out. Was supposed to go to 3 clubs, had so much fun at the first one we didn't leave until 6am. Then went to a house party.
I finally recovered on Sunday sometime.
Now lets hope the rest of my year goes this well.

Both.
We stayed IN the first 4 bottles of champagne, then took the fifth bottle OUT for a walk and left it in snow outside the club where we (me and my 24yr old friend) realized we are the oldest ones...so we ordered few Jamesons...and had lot of fun...we were making fun of the young boys by pretending sexy lesbian dance (I remember one of the boys nearly felt from the chair ha ha ha), on the way home we finished the champagne and than watched the Constantine.
