SANDCASTLE UPDATE

The Sandman’s grand conception of the dream theme camp
called “Sandcastle” will not be realized this year for
Burning Man. On the other hand, I trying to start
small and facilitate a group interested in dreams to
be active at this year’s event. This group may be the
core of the more ambitious Sandcastle camp for Burning
Man 2005.

This year we will have a dream sharing group that will
meet every morning during the event at the Center Cafe
to explore our nightly dreams. We are picking the
Center Cafe because it’s a landmark everyone will know
and there is enough shaded space for the activity. As
before, I’m looking for people who have some dreamwork
and/or psychology experience and who would enjoy
working with others on dream exploration. Other dream
enthusiasts are also welcome. Our first planning
meeting will happen Tuesday night July 6 at the studio
of dream artist Chris Wayan. If you want to come, please email the Sandman. Hope to see you there!

Time: July 6 (tuesday night) 7:30 pm

Place: 242 Prentiss
San Francisco

Bernal Heights neighborhood
corner of Cortland & Prentiss

24 or 67 MUNI lines go down Cortland

Would you be willing to do a sunset dream group too?

I have a small camp that is growing daily. We plan to sleep quite a bit during the day. We want to share in your Dream circle and have a sunset dream circle on two evenings during Burning Man. Are you interested?
Our camp could provide your group with a lovely setting for this and we would also love to serve you tea.

Our camp is going to be very chilled. Tons of sweet fabric covered pillows and room to just chill.

Let me know.

Dream on...

Hi,

I've always been interested in dreamwork, but havent been focused enough to really get into it much.. however I do realize the potential and power of dreams.. I've even had lucid dreams, which are the best...when you realize you are in a dream, and start flying and doing anything you wish. Hmmm sometimes when I talk about it, the same night.. I end up having a lucid dream! Hopefully I will have one tonight hehe..

Also interested in Astral Projection.. to be able to float around the playa and explore it through mid air, flying through the Man, and the Temple..ooohhh maybe we can have a short workshop on how to attain Astral Projection!.. now wouldnt that be a worth while course to take home and work on every night ;) I even have an interesting forum for those who are successful astral travelers, and guides to teach how to do it..

For Lucid Dreaming;

For Astral Projection;

I'm no expert, but this is helpful.. anyone interested in getting started should really check these sites out. If you are an experienced Lucid/Astral Traveler, this would be a great opportunity to share techniques for those interested in learning.

Email me if you are an expert or just interested, id love to join this sunset dream sharing ..

Great idea! Count me in.
Just for grins here's one of my recent favorite dreams:

I look over at someone coughing and it ends up being a cauliflower with a cold. Feeling helpful, I toss it some garlic for the natural remedy effect. It somehow snarfs it down and the next thing I know the cauliflower is attacking my leg, (trying to get more or just attack me?? )
