Transporting water to the playa

So, I've suddenly become responsible for bringing in water for me and my three campmates. I was originally planning on loading up the rental car in Reno when it was just for me, but the car is now going to be occupied with the aforementioned campmates, so there won't be any room for 50+ gallons of water.

The big issue is that we're coming from the East Coast. There's a container and truck heading in from nearby, but it seems absolutely ridiculous to arrange for that much water to travel accross the country at great expense (and wasting gas).

So my question is if anyone knows of a camp or someone that's bringing in a large quantity of water from nearby, with whom I could arrange something? I can bring my own containers in which to take it away, and will certainly offer compensation through money, barter, or basically anything else not involving farm animals.
