Not all long-hairs are hippies,,,, are all hippies long-hairs? Idunno!

Not all cocksuckers are homos,,,,, are all homos cocksuckers? Idunno!

Not all stinky people are hippies,,,,, are all hippies stinky? Idunno!

I do know that the Brotherhood of MD2020 is sorely offended, as is the Ripple Squad for not being mentioned!

When it comes to pigeon-holing people, we are pretty simple about it. There are those who share and those who keep. There are those who give and those who take. There are those who are parasitic and those who are hospitable. Individuals are either responsible for their own actions and realize the cause and affect of those actions, or they are oblivious to what is required to accomplish anything meaningful in life.

When it comes to bacon,,,, wellllll it's simply the perfect food.

I think I'm starting to understand this love of bacon. Yes , yes I am. All its greasy goodness . Cooked so it's just crispy on the edges but still kinda chewy in the middle . Salty with just that hint of maple syrup and eating it hot right out of the pan mmmmmmmm. I think I'm gonna have a bacon orgasm.

Before the 60s and hippies, a "long hair" was a classically trained intellectual pianist. Take back the hair!

Ha!

Long hair def isn't a hippie-definier, for me. Natty long hair with stupid hats, sure. Long hair? No. Though I prefer short hair (it's Freudian, I'm an Army brat):

Yeah, those creepy caresses are pretty much the reason I don't like hippies. There are other things, but that's the one that's very viseral.

Well here I go , I'm gonna step out onto that limb.

I'm still trying to get my head around this hippie stuff. Thinking back , way back I can recall meeting some hippies in the mid 70's . They are (were) nothing like you describe here. The people you describe are what I call bums, winos, dirtbags etc.The ones I knew were hard working, honest and very giving. Yes, they did stink a little but that was from working. They also had a very stong sense of community and cared a great deal about the people around them. Yes they smoke pot and take mind expanding drugs but that doesn't make them bad people does it ? They taught me some values I still hold today, like giving freely, keeping an open mind and if you don't work you don't eat.

I guess we are talking about two differant types of people from what I gather. Or maybe they evolved into mutant hippies from doing all that acid. Or maybe all the bad ones moved to California to hug trees .

Don't misunderstand what I'm saying, I don't have much use for people who are just looking for handouts and they will never have my respect.

The people I know who are lazy fucks are not hippies as I stated . They are just lazy fucks who will not go anywhere life.

Peace

The bum lazy ones seem to dress in the "hip" or "businessman" hand me down/donated/thrift store clothes.

NYC they seem to look like dishevled stock brokers, West coast cities they seem to wear tie die and look like disheveled cool people and so forth...

Oh and Bacon is just a fun, tasty, salty food....salt is good, water is good.

Seems in general burning man is layout & set up the city & camping first, fun second ("fun" is broad for sure) and safety third.
I could be wrong or missing something, this is a good start for me.
There are so many people with different ideas and things going on, I like it!

Okay, back to work for me, lunch break is over :P
I'm the MAN in a truck, burner who is stuck, you're in luck! I'll whip out my BIG tow chain and not charge you, not even one lousy buck!
