bumping the first thread I ever started because now more than ever it still seems like a damned good idea.

Kinda silly wiping your ass on a symbol. Especially when that symbol stands for your right to do so. Is your inner Rebel out of ideas?

Seems kinda silly wiping your ass on plain paper when the ability to make a statement could be right behind you with every wipe.

Kinda like some people I saw in 09, The American Dream theme, using an American flag as a wrap or cape of sorts, then dropping it on the ground to do something.
The flag gives them that right.
Kinda like "bitin the hand that feeds you." Not you personally, but as a whole.

people are too lost in the symbolism... really, it's just a piece of fabric. don't confuse the map with the territory... there are plenty of ways people bite the hand that feeds them in a much more literal manner than how they treat a symbol. ;)

Hmmm...think that was what Paul Addis was thinking when he burned down the man?
