Admit it. You log in, make comments, correct spelling and grammar, be as witty as you're able, be supportfull of those in need, and you still don't get cited on the Crush Thread. And you resent it. Now there's an "eplaya babe thread"--we can pretty firmly expect that'll be non-stop Ivy, and Technopatria, and Isotopia, and Lydia.

And all because you're:
Too cranky
Too Hairy
Not Femmy enough
Socially inept
Too poor to bribe fellow e-playans
Too Gender Queer
Too prone to using smilies
In the wrong theme camp
Too annoying
A sock puppet
or just plain plain!

The Crush thread, in it's creation was supposed to be more for "Brain-Crushes" not "oooh so and so is *such* a hottie" type crushes.

I'm a fucking affirmation whore and even I am made uncomfortable by the Babe thread.

I'd be interested to know what you dislike about the pageant.

You guys never read the OP of "The Eplaya babe report" so let me reiterate again It Reads as follows:

In essence exactly what you just said. Being Resentful is what you seem to like to be and that is ok but to have a complex of how you look is pretty sad. In my book, ones appearance is not what I look for in a person, it's who they are that makes them attractive to me. Which is what I was insinuating in my OP above.

To deny that I like to look at beautiful women is disingenious at worst, naive at best. But to think that I am only turned on by 100 lbs (or more) of quivering flesh is sexist... no matter what your gender.

I have said for years that the brain is the sexiest organ of the human body. A beautiful package is just a package... but a package with substance? Yeow!!!! GIMME SOMMA' THAT!!!! I prefer interaction (emphasis on 'inter') than just plain old action. To know that I have been able to make an intelligent woman feel all warm and fuzzy is a great challenge and I am looking forward to it....

... because up 'til now, all I've been able to make intelligent women do is yawn and walk away... Sigh....

I get that, but, regardless of whether people are giving props for brains or beauty it just rings of a cliqueish popularity contest to me. I have the same reaction to the MBRC thing. Anytime yer gonna put folks on a stage and vote for who is the best, regardless of the criteria, is gonna rub me the wrong way.

I have to say I agree completely... I entered (and I know this is just my take on it) thinking that the MSBRC contest was basically a chance for contestants to talk some shit (on the eplaya, anyways), make a sash, pose in front of family and friends, maybe take a couple of pics, and that's it...

Then I start reading about finalists, and uh.... hmmmm. I'm not gonna go there. I don't want to be judged, cause I'm out first, folks. Which is as it should be. (See photo in babe thread if I can grapple with this stupid yeah-like-I'm-gonna-read-the-damn-manual digital camera.)
