HEY there burners I am seriously trying to get to The rites of passage BM this year, i have been putting it off for far to long
I've been reading everything i can about BM but if any traveller from foreighn lands (ie not USA) can give me some advice on what to bring and what to buy when i get over the pond i would be super grateful
oh and nearer the time how to get from SF to BRC (gotta love abrvtins) with a very very limited budget
I have a ridiculously low budget like about £500 pounds tops after tickets and flights so any suggestions on how to save cash also gratefully received

Five hundred pounds is about a thousand dollars. That's plenty. Although I suppose you'll have to buy new gear, baggage allowances being what they are. Share a rental car and I think you're okay. Find a ride and you're golden.
A "sticky" about coming long distances would be useful, but we have almost too many stickies in this forum...
