May be a reference to the stupid fast two cycles they became famous for, or the Triumphs.
I'm sure it was a japanese bike though, probably a Kawasaki.
He wouldn't have had the cost of a BSA, as he says he couldn't afford a Harley.
He has referred to a 750 Triple Kawasaki, probably the later bike.
The BSA did exist in 65-66, but barely.
He wrecked it, which partially helped with his lost credibility.
