I don't know that there's much bacon-related crap I haven't made. These candles are "eh." More a novelty. Bacon grease heats up and goes straight liquid pretty quickly, and stays pretty soft.
It's better to put the wick in before you pour the grease, like you would making any candle.

In the summer my grease jar doesn't ever solidify.

I don't know. You'd think, but how the bacon grease would melt all mixed up that, I don't know. I think it'd be easier just to buy bacon scent and add it to a normal candle mix. You can buy bacon soaps and candles, so it's out there somewhere...junglesmacks wrote:Could you possibly do like a mix with candle wax? Say like.. 50/50 blend of bacon grease and parrafin?
