Bad Grammar/Spelling Thread
Because so many have issues with the correct spelling and grammar than what the posts are about, here's you're very own thread. Only one rule - every post has to have at least one misspelling, grammar error, or other frack-up...
That way all the wanna-be school marms will be able to have a field day and maybee they'll quit ripping other postersabout spelling and stuff, and let them pos their stuff.
Let the corrections begin!

I like it BBS!
I chose #3 because welp, some of us need some help...there wasn't a choice for we poor spellers, writers and lousy grammar (I'm guilty of crappy grammar and a handful of other crap i forgot/never learned, what can I say?)
Let the lessons begin! One thing, isn't there some leway for online forum posting? ie AFAICT stuff like that and BBS...sooo, we need forum posting improvement NOT professional proof reading help as if the goal is to write a perfect newspaper article. Just sayin'
I always screw up who and whom btw! That and which...stuff like that.
Aren't we all perfectly imperfect?
Edit to add the last sentence, LOL

Wul considerin' thars a undrline in red that tells ya when a werd is not known to the spellcheck, and considering you can simply open a search engine and find the correct speeling with difunishin in a madder of secunds, it reely falls into the classificificificifikashun of lazy rightin.

I agree with Dougly. I compose a TON of posts,,,, NOT just copy and paste. I don't take all that time to get exactly the right meaning just to screw it up with spelling. You can lose the whole meaning at times. There is a huge difference between worth less and worthless.
If the meaning isn't lost, THAT is the most important fart.

I don't post things because I believe that they are the absolute truth. I post them because I believe that they should be considered.

the longer it's been since college the less that bad spelling/grammar bothers me. it used to really irritate me a whole lot. these days i can dig it. it adds flavor and character online, makes our virtual "voices" more unique and identifiable as people.

For instance, if you've noticed in other threads, especially jkisha's threads, I've refrained from the term "gubmint".

As an author I find the grammatical errors a distraction because I do so much editing on my own work I can't stop wanting to correct the errors. It is usually just a slight pause in the comprehension of the information being presented, however, some errors do really piss me off. I'm not talking about the hard ones like who/whom or affect/effect or en/em/2em/3em dashes, but very basic (first grade level) ones like to/too/two. Come on you fuckers this might just be a means to bang the rocks together / ask for coconuts / and get laid to you, but the effect* upon what is my art medium is disgusting. I'm not saying written work with grammatical errors can't possibly be art, but what artist would leave spaghetti sauce on their canvas unintentionally.

OTOH, I do feel much more comfortable posting here than at my writer's forum, enough so that I've never proofed/previewed any of my posts here.
*Here is the mandatory grammatical error, but how many people would have caught it without having it pointed out?
