We’re Burners from Michigan and we’re not going to Burning Man this year…..and that makes us sad….
.... but….We’ve decided to do something about it, and we’d like to have as many of you as possible from the areas’ Burner communities participate with us.
My name is Jim (they call me Amaretto on the playa), and along with my lovely wife Mary Jane (yes, that’s really her name), we’ve decided to host a brand new Burner event --- AURA MAN

A brand new Burner event to boost the spirits of those not going to Burning Man this year, and to act as a pre-compression burn for those who are.
WHERE: Sun Aura Nudist Resort (Clothing-Optional) Adults only – No one under 18-years-old

WHY: To introduce the Burning Man philosophies, life-styles, and good times to Burner-minded
members of Sun Aura Resort.
To offer Burners another regional burn at which to pre-compress before heading out to the playa.
To help us (and you) feel better about not going to Burning Man this year.
COST: Free !!! All you have to pay is the daily admission fees to enter the camp.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT SUN AURA RESORT
Sun Aura bills itself as a nudist resort, but it would be more accurately described as a clothing-optional campground. The camp has been around since the 1920’s under a number of different names – Zorro, Naked City, Sun Spot. It is, in fact, the oldest nudist camp in the USA. Over the years, the 300+ acre wooded camp has developed quite an “aura” of its own (and a bit of a reputation, too
). We think you’ll have a burning blast at Aura Man. There are over 200 permanent campsites nestled in the woods throughout the camp. As the decades progressed, many of the campsites have take on “theme camp”-like personality. Mary Jane and I, and other Burner-minded members of Sun Aura, want to introduce our love for all things Burning Man to the fine folks at Sun Aura. That’s why we are doing this, and also, because we can. I can’t think of a better reason for doing something.
