House of Dreams Theme Camp idea Eastbay help needed

Post by Applewoman » Fri Dec 17, 2010 9:01 pm

I just had the idea of a theme camp called House of Dreams, where we will string as many hammocks as possible around a center pole inside a shade structure. It will offer a community space for people to rest and dream. I would like to bring together a group of people in the East Bay to help with this project. Donations of hammocks, shade structure, poles etc. appreciated.

-Love,

If cocaine were legal, would they sell it in little packages like Sweet N' Low? Would they call it Sweet N' High?

It's a great idea but a couple days after the dirty hippies move in and refuse to leave it starts to smell bad.

Maybe do it as an art installation instead of in your homestead.

The infrastructure to support say 10 hammocks would need to suspend a ton of free swinging meat. That's a pretty ambitious project! It can be done, but I'm thinking you would need something like a power pole for the center. Good luck!

Have had some issues with hammocks of various types getting overloaded and breaking. Be aware.
A plan is what you vary from.

Destiny Lounge 3D will be at Bradbury and 3:15 this year as a part of the 404: Village Not Found group of camps! Come see us!

After a couple of days, we're all dirty, smelly and appreciate a place to chill.
What ever happened to Bianca?
