Packers and Steelers

Post by maryanimal » Sun Jan 23, 2011 8:48 pm

Ok, who's going to win? I like both teams so may the best team win! It'll be a close game pointwise.. I'm thinking 10 points.
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

Guessing the Vegas point spread would be a game in itself.

I am betting it has the Steelers at +4

(that means they are given 4 points as the underdog)

Pointspreads won't happen till wednesday, regardless.

I like the idea of football better when the teams have these blue collar names.

I am pulling for JK, because he seems to need some help.

Currently in Mexico. Lots of Packer shirts - a few Steeler shirts - and a lot of Canadians with puzzled looks on their faces :D

Yeah, and it makes me really wonder if my new light-up clothes are as cool as I thought they were.

You are now seeing with your night playa blinky awareness vision. Do not be afraid. Those outfits were very cool. Super Bowl half time music is usually so so.

Great game, went just like I figured.

But... what exactly *is* a 'packer'?

Buried blinkylites, the Peas, aging hack guitarists, and smoke effects all at once. They should have exhumed the Beach Boys. Ads were uniformly awful, so were the Fox announcers, production and camera work. Good thing the game made up for it.

Meat, not fish. And some say that that's true of the San Franciscans. And I say I'm a little uncomfortable with that joke, because that's one that seems to creep out around homophobics.
But yeah, fish from the Great Lakes would make any slaughterhouse horror look quite healthy, I think.
