Greetings from southern Brazil
Well, I didn't get my tickets yet, but I'm going to do that pretty soon.
Conecting with the Burning Man community is overwhelming.
I'm happy to be here.
I'm happy to meet some of you soon.
I'm happy I'll be part of Burning Man.
Warm hugs to all of you,
Felipe

Should I rent a RV?
Guys, I was thinking of renting a RV?
do you think it is a good idea?
I know I can't drive it trough Rock City, but would I have to park it faraway from the villages?

Felipe, I recommend browsing the Q&A Tips and Tricks forum below the Introduce Yourself forum. (This introductory forum is mostly just good for saying hello and meeting people.) On the first page of Q&A, if you scroll down, you will see this thread in which people discuss RVs vs. Camping:
First time burn: Camp ? RV ...... > or < or =
http://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic.php?t=38045
That thread leads to this thread about camping in a box truck:
http://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic.php?t=37536
It is also possible to sleep in a van if you don't want to pitch a tent.
There are also many, many other useful threads in Q&A. Read like crazy.

Hey, welcome to the fun. click on the link below. It's a Satellite view of the city. You can zoom in real close and see what it looks like to camp..fanghinoni wrote:Guys, I was thinking of renting a RV?

Keep asking your questions.... Good luck on trying to rent a RV in California now for Burning Man, you might have luck in Las Vegas though...

- Renting an RV is a good idea (since it pisses off the hippies), but it's expensive.fanghinoni wrote:Guys, I was thinking of renting a RV?

- I'm not sure which villages you're thinking about, but you can park it anywhere you can pitch a tent.

welcome fanghinoni, you can park an RV anywere there is space, that is not reserved for theme camps and villiages. Anywhere in the open camping
see, Dougly, I'da thought you'd have picked up on the whole "southern Brazil" idea, and ran with it like Yule Brynner.
