Greetings Beautiful Burners - Schools done, off to the Burn!
Hey eplaya! I'm so glad to say that this year I'm finally able to attend Burning Man! About to graduate from the University of Vermont in May, and am gonna make may way out to BRC come August after some epic traversing of the US of A. Ive known about Burning Man for almost as long as I can remember, but have never been able to go before cause of school/money/life... This year is different! It truly will be a Rite of Passage.
Grew up in PDX, lived in SF, and then moved out here to Vermont - needless to say I am extremely excited to get back on the West Coast... Not that the East isn't cool, it's just... well...
So excited to connect with folks, whether it be on the cyber realms, or on the playa!

The Fighting Catamounts! I spent some time working at Vermont as well as St. Mikes in Winooski. Had a great time there, except I can say without fear of contradiction that the women at St. Mikes were, well, let's just say not the most attractive on the planet. On the other hand, back in Burlington at UV it was a different story completely. Don't mean to sound sexist, but when you're 22 that is what's on your mind.

I think that's the actual function of the barbies. Their psychic resonance interferes with the RV's recall on these matters.*Mojojita wrote:Doc - it's not sexist, it's what is still on your mind! (If the back of that RV could talk......)

Stag Camp!
As a founding member of Stag Camp I have to say Stag Camp!
It will be our 5th year this year. We are a group of self reliant people from all over the US and some of the rest of the world. We do a little unofficial theme camp stuff but no one in camp has any chores in that regard. If you are interested just shoot me a PM and I'll give you the link to our site.

Hey thanks for the welcomes yall. I'm glad that eplaya is such a vibrant online community - its always a bummer to come across a dead or dying forum/social network site (cough, tribe.)
Doc Pyro- Yes, Burlington is still a nice little bubble of attractive woman. Cracks me up that it's been like that for so long...
Its been a bit difficult to connect to the BM community out here, even though I have connected with a few VT Burners. Once I move back to SF or PDX I'm hoping to connect with the regionals there.
I'm hoping to really connect with as many folks as possible, so thanks for all the replies! See you on da playa!

Then you better chose Portland. In San Francisco the big burn is the regional.InDidgeInUs wrote:Once I move back to SF or PDX I'm hoping to connect with the regionals there.

I grew up in Portland... I love the place to death, but I think it would be way to easy to stagnate, fall into familiar patterns, etc. Plus I have a good base of friends in the Bay.theCryptofishist wrote: Then you better chose Portland. In San Francisco the big burn is the regional.
