Apparently the person who started this rumor doesn't know when Burning Man happens- look at the date on the "letter"- 2/26/95.

On the playa, in February? When has Burning Man ever taken place in February?? It's fucking cold out there now, and the playa's wet.

Yeah there are a lot of ways to debunk it. The first is that it is unlikely a film crew for a video would go all the way to BRD when there are salt flats that would provide the same appearance a couple hours outside of LA.

The second is the date which, as you noted, is feb, and that's an 05 not a 1995.
