Nah, it's the spoons.agree that most absinthes really do not need the sugar, but chicks really seem to get off on the ritual. I have a 4-spigot fountain with spoons and glasses about which women seem to be very curious. Maybe it's the louche action that makes them think of other liquids that are white and dangerous,,,,![]()

Anybody ever seen anything like this? It is called a sugar spoon. I think it was made somewhere in Bohemia. It is 92.5 AU, but that is the only marking. I picked it up in an antique shop for $20.

. . . Indeed. That spoon's so pretty I'd be tempted to base a costume on it and flit around the playa using it as a modest little sceptre.
My two absinthe spoons are more plain & modern; both came with a bottle of Absente. I do like the one shaped like a curvy philodendron leaf.
However, there might be something interesting in the family silver. Grandma would approve.

When it comes to rubbing a woman's neck and chest,,,, a spoon is wayyyyyyy down the list of what I would use.FATCAMP wrote:lol it is an oddity but there are better ways to get girls besides rubbing a cold spoon down their neck to their chest...although it does work
